A bow and how to walk Three, a salutation, a bow, and the maximum salutation, are basic operation. Please keep in mind to put not only a form but a feeling and to greet.
1. Attendance Straighten the back, without straining your shoulders. After the middle finger of a right hand and a left hand has touched the line beside trousers lightly, arrange your fingertips of both hands. Touch the heel of both legs and open both tiptoes naturally, without bending your knees. Turn a look straight.
2. Salutation Take care also about breathing, and make the upper half of the body incline forward slowly, turning a look to a guest. Don't see a guest with upward glance. (15 degrees and about 1 second)
3. Bow Perform the angle which salutes for about 2 seconds at 30 degrees.. It is deeper than a salutation.
4. Making a profound bow Perform the angle when making a profound bow for about 3 seconds at 45 degrees. (When you express the feeling of deep gratitude and the apologetic mind to the guests, bow very low.)
Walk When you walk, don't raise a footstep or don't shake the body. It looks beautifully if you walk so that your knees may be lengthened momentarily. It is most important to straighten the back when you walk. Running is prohibited.
